PHY 105: General Physics for Health Sciences
Credits 3This course introduces the fundamental principles of physics with an emphasis on conceptual reasoning and quantitative problem-solving. Topics include motion, forces, energy, momentum, waves, sound, light, and basic electricity. Students will apply physical laws to real-world phenomena, analyze relationships among physical quantities, and interpret systems relevant to healthcare and other STEM contexts. The course builds students’ critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and analytical skills that support accurate observation, measurement, and evaluation in diagnostic imaging and related medical technologies.
