Veteran Education Benefit Programs

Maine College of Health Professions is approved by the State Approving Agency for Veterans’ Education Programs for military personnel, veterans, and their eligible dependents. The GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affair education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.

The College meets the requirements for the enrollment of eligible persons under the provisions of the various educational assistance programs offered through the VA. All students who expect to receive VA benefits are encouraged to contact the VA office to discuss eligibility and apply for benefits. Once determined eligible by VA, students will submit to the Bursar:

  1. Certificate of Eligibility form or
  2. Authorization Number (VR&E including Counselor name & contact information)
  3. Submit the Maine College of Health Professions VA Request for Certification form 30 days prior to the beginning of EACH semester.
