This course examines breast anatomy, physiology, and pathology as they relate to mammographic imaging and procedural practice. Students analyze normal and pathological imaging appearances, correlate clinical indications with procedural selection, and evaluate positioning and technique modifications required for diagnostic and interventional mammography.

Acceptance into the Mammography Program or permission of the Dean.
